Last updated: 8 September 2026 Applies to: https://atlasorbite.com/

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Atlas facility LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, trading as ATLAS FACILITY ("we", "us", "our"). We are the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

Atlas facility LLC

United States
Email: contact@atlasorbite.com

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used and protected, how long it is kept, and what rights you have in relation to it.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal data we process:

  • when you visit this website;
  • when you submit the Request a Quote form or the contact form;
  • when you contact us by email or telephone;
  • in the course of a client engagement, for the administration of that engagement.

It does not cover personal data that we process on behalf of a client when performing development services on their systems. In that situation the client is the controller and we act as a processor on their documented instructions, as described in section 13 of our Terms of Service.

This website is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.

3. What personal data we collect

Data you provide to us

When you submit one of our forms or contact us directly, we collect the information you choose to give us. Through the Request a Quote form this is: full name, company name, business email address, telephone number (optional), existing website or application (optional), project type, estimated budget range, desired timeline and your project description.

Through the contact form this is: name, company, email address, subject and message.

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the contact details and the content of the exchange.

Client engagement data

If you become a client, we additionally process the information necessary to administer the engagement: contact details of your nominated representatives, billing and invoicing details, correspondence, and records relating to the project and its delivery.

Technical data

Our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested. These typically include the IP address, date and time, the page requested, the HTTP status, the referring page and the browser user agent. These logs are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security, abuse prevention and diagnostic purposes.

What we do not collect

  • We do not collect payment card details on this website. There is no checkout and no payment form on this site.
  • We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies on this website, and we do not build visitor profiles.
  • We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data, and you should not submit such data through our forms.

Where the applicable legal framework is the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation, the bases above correspond to Article 6(1)(b), 6(1)(c) and 6(1)(f). Where you have given consent for a specific purpose, that consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Marketing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We do not operate a marketing mailing list. If we introduce one in future, subscription will be optional, based on your consent, and every message will include an unsubscribe link. This policy will be updated before any such processing begins.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and does not set cookies of its own. Full details, including what would change if that ever altered, are set out in our Cookie Policy.

7. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary, and only with parties that process it on our behalf under appropriate contractual safeguards, or where we are required to do so by law.

Where a payment is made by card, the card details are provided directly to the payment processor and are not accessible to us. The processor acts as an independent controller for that processing and applies its own privacy policy.

8. International transfers

We are established in the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States or in other countries. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with data transfer restrictions, your personal data may therefore be transferred outside your country of residence.

Where such a transfer takes place, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under the applicable law — in particular contractual protections such as Standard Contractual Clauses with the relevant provider — and we take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to be protected to an equivalent standard.

9. How long we keep your data

CategoryRetention
Enquiries and quotation requests that do not lead to an engagementUp to 24 months from the last exchange, then deleted

Invoices, payment and accounting recordsFor the period required by applicable tax and accounting law, generally 7 years
Server logsFor the short period applied by our hosting provider, generally not more than 12 months

When a retention period expires, data is deleted or anonymised. Where deletion is not immediately possible — for example in backups — the data is isolated from further processing until deletion occurs.

10. How we protect your data

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including:

  • encryption of traffic to and from this website using HTTPS/TLS;
  • access to personal data restricted to those who need it to carry out their work;
  • use of reputable service providers with their own recognised security practices;
  • separation of card payment processing, which is handled by a PCI-DSS compliant processor and never on our systems;
  • confidentiality obligations for personnel and subcontractors.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, card numbers or other sensitive credentials through our web forms or by unencrypted email.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Access — to be told whether we hold personal data about you and to receive a copy of it.
  • Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Erasure — to have data deleted where there is no longer a valid basis for keeping it.
  • Restriction — to ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Objection — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
  • Portability — to receive certain data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on consent, to withdraw it at any time.
  • Non-discrimination — not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@atlasorbite.com or use our contact form selecting the subject "Data protection request". We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law, and in any event without undue delay.

If you consider that we have not handled your personal data properly, we would like the opportunity to put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

12. Third-party links

This website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit through such a link.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, our service providers or applicable law. The current version is always published on this page with its "last updated" date. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to the attention of affected clients.

In particular, if we introduce analytics, marketing tools or any other technology that processes additional personal data, this policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated before that technology is activated.
